10 Women to Watch in 5768
It takes 10 individuals to make a minyan….In Jewish
tradition, we struggle to balance our individuality with our sense of community. The 10 Women to Watch honorees for 5768, a minyan in their own right, embody the true nature of this balance. They excel as individuals in their respective fields while remaining connected to, and responsible for, the world around them. Joining the 90 honored before them, they bring the total to 100 Jewish women we have chosen over the past decade, women of vision and vigor who continue to leave indelible marks on business, law, music, art, medicine, human services and more, and remain engaged in the task of repairing the world. They are an inspiration to all of us and a symbol of what Jewish women are—and what we can become.
