While most of us like to recount funny family stories from Seders past, cartoonist and illustrator Naava Katz, 32, of Montclair, N.J., tells her stories through Sederisms, Passover-themed cartoons such as this one. Katz discovered the art of cartooning in the 6th grade when two boys in her class were getting a lot of attention for a comic strip they were drawing. Taking a look at it, something clicked, and she went home and drew her own four-panel strip. She’s been at it ever since. |
